Crypto Update
Binance plans a restart. Can your crypto leave too?

Withdrawals now have a specific proposed restart window. But a phased reopening is not a green button for everyone. Your asset and chosen network need to work together.

What has Binance announced?
On 1 November, Binance announced a first withdrawal phase with a planned start window of 06:00–09:00 UTC: 07:00–10:00 CET or 13:00–16:00 in Thailand. At our check, this was an announcement, not verified resumption.
The company lists selected assets and networks and directs users to its withdrawal screen and network status for availability. Delays may occur. Separately, Binance says it has replenished about 95% of the affected amount; that is a company statement, not an independent guarantee.
The asset name is not enough
An asset can exist on several networks. A service restoring one route does not automatically make every route usable. A train that starts running again does not necessarily stop at every station.
Fictional example: Noor wants to send USDC. She sees that withdrawals are returning. She still checks which USDC-network combination Binance offers and which combination the receiving service supports. She does not switch to an unfamiliar network simply because its button works.
What should you check?
Open the official app or enter the trusted web address yourself. Check the asset, network, destination address, any required memo, minimum and fees. Read the status of any earlier request before starting again.
A request still being processed is different from a confirmed failure. Sending again without checking can create a second instruction. First establish what happened to the original. Network availability also does not establish that the destination is trustworthy.
Do not let urgency decide
A restart is not an instruction to act quickly. Do not pay someone who sends a private message offering to unlock a withdrawal. Never share a login code or recovery phrase, including with someone claiming to be support.
Want to check whether you understand these steps? Answer the three practical questions for this article in the Mini App. Practise network selection, handling a pending request and recognising fake support. The free quizzes offer more practice at three levels.
